CUBS LONDON WEEKEND - 30-04-2010CUBS LONDON WEEKEND BURNLEY & PENDLE DISTRICT CUBS WEEKEND IN LONDON 30 APRIL 2010 Leaders are requested to circulate this as widely as possible. Thank you. The Burnley and Pendle District Cub Scout Leaders intend organizing their 17th Biannual visit to London during the Weekend of 30th of April to 3rd of MAY 2010 Leaving Burnley on Friday Evening and returning Monday Evening. Cub Scouts and Leaders will be staying in the Thameside Youth Hostel, Situated right next to the river Thames and within easy reach of the centre of No10 Downing Street, St Pauls, Tower Hill, Buckingham Palace, and most of the well known sights all which have been voted a success including some of the best London Museums. The chance to stay on the banks of the river Thames and also to take part in a similar programme of activities is no doubt one which you would like your Son /Daughter to take advantage of and although the exact details are not finalized. Based on the 2008 price it is anticipated the approximate cost will be £170 per Cub and Leader. A £30 Non Returnable Deposit will be required with the return slip below followed by payments £70 or more having been paid by 30th September 2009, and the whole amount paid before 31st March 2010. All Cheques must be made payable to BURNLEY DISTRICT CUB SCOUT LONDON ACCOUNT. It is anticipated that the money will be collected weekly at the pack meetings with a card issued to each cub recording the amount paid. There will be a limited number of places for Cubs and Leaders, so please return your form to your Leader as soon as possible with the Deposit. The event is open to both Pendle and Burnley District Cubs so space is very limited! If further information is required please do not hesitate to speak to your Cub Scout Leader or the organizer.
